This Refund Policy governs refunds for any paid services, advertisement listings, or other paid features (collectively “Paid Services”) on the Desh Parivahan platform (website & app). By using Paid Services, you agree to this policy.

 

1. Applicability of Refunds

  1. This Refund Policy applies only to Paid Services offered by Desh Parivahan (e.g., paid advertisements, premium listings, featured ads).

  2. It does not apply to standard transport or logistics transactions between users (truck hires, shipments) or marketplace purchases of goods, unless explicitly stated.

  3. Refunds will only be processed in accordance with this policy and Desh Parivahan’s discretion.

2. General Refund Conditions

  1. All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected] within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of purchase of the Paid Service.

  2. You must provide relevant details such as:
     • Order / transaction ID
     • Date of purchase
     • Amount paid
     • Reason for refund request

  3. Desh Parivahan reserves the right to verify your claim and request additional information/documentation to validate the refund request.

3. Refunds for Unused Paid Services

  1. If you deactivate or delete a Paid Service before the end of its active duration, no refund will be granted for the unused portion of time.

  2. However, in cases where you were unable to use the Paid Service due to technical issues (for example, your advertisement could not be posted because of a system error), upon confirmation, an equivalent credit for the unutilized service units may be added to your Desh Parivahan account instead of a direct monetary refund.

4. Advertisements / Listings — Violations or Removal

  1. If your advertisement or listing is removed or not published due to violation of Terms & Conditions, no refund or credit will be provided.

  2. If removal is due to Desh Parivahan’s technical error (and not due to user fault), eligible users may receive credit or refund for the portion affected.

5. Marketplace & Logistics Transactions

  1. For transactions between users (e.g., hiring a truck, delivery of goods), Desh Parivahan does not act as a party to the contract. All arrangements, payments, delivery, and disputes are handled directly between the parties. (As per our Terms & Conditions) deshparivahan.in

  2. Desh Parivahan does not guarantee refunds for these third-party transactions.

  3. Any refund, damage claim, or dispute must be pursued between the buyer and transporter or seller, with Desh Parivahan only acting as facilitator if chosen or required.

1 Once your refund request is received, we will review it within 10 business days
2 If approved, we will initiate refund or credit within the next 5 business days
3 Refunds will be made via the same payment method originally used (if possible)
4 If credit is issued, it can be used toward future Paid Services on Desh Parivahan

 

7. Partial or Pro-Rata Refunds

Desh Parivahan is under no obligation to provide partial or pro-rata refunds except where clearly stated here (e.g. during technical failures). All Paid Services are generally non-refundable once activated beyond allowed timeframe.

 

8. Cancelling / Withdrawing Refund Request

If you change your mind after submitting a refund request (and before it is processed), you may withdraw your request by contacting support. If the refund has already been processed, cancellation may not be possible.

9. Exceptions & Special Situations

Desh Parivahan reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refund or credit amounts beyond the scope of this Policy in exceptional cases (e.g., system-wide outage, force majeure). Any such decisions are final and binding.

10. Modifications to this Refund Policy

Desh Parivahan may update or change this Refund Policy at any time by posting the revised version on the website (e.g. at deshparivahan.in/refund-policy.php). The revised policy becomes effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of Paid Services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
